What is LifeHouse Academy?
LifeHouse Academy is a ministry of LifeHouse Church. We are a Category IV Church related Non-Public school. We are currently a study at home program, but are working on a hybrid option where students would be able to be on campus a couple of days a week. Students and parents meet with our administrator at least once a month to get materials and go over progress (though, she prefers meeting more frequently). At that time, you will be given new PACEs to work on. We are currently using the A.C.E. curriculum and fall under their jurisdiction.
According to TN law, ANY Category IV church related school student that decides to transfer back to public school or college may be tested for placement by the school at their discretion. Per state law, as part of a Category IV church related school, students are required to work 6.5 hours a day for 180 days in the school year. This is equal to public school requirements. Tuition for LifeHouse Academy is $125 a month for 12 months(from August to July). There is a 10% discount if you pay in full at registration. This fee includes all materials, meetings with our administrator and the online supplemental programs that she is getting access to, just to name a few things.
